NIKE's Huarache silhouette has been acclaimed since its inception at the hands of the great Tinker Hatfield. The model has amassed a following from all hemispheres of customers due to various incarnations. Since the original Huarache has begun slowly spreading into the US market from overseas once again it is receiving a warm welcome. For the Fall/Winter season, the Oregon-based footwear giant retros the Air Flight Huarache in its OG makeup. This basketball-infused Huarache model features the original silhouette's iconic inner-sock and TPU harness, but in a high-top cut. The upper is composed of a white synthetic leather with mesh paneling straddling the forefoot. The neoprene inner-sock features a combination of blue and purple, while the wraparound TPU harness is primarily black, with a small purple component bearing an embossed NIKE-branding hit. The typical Huarache midsole is supplemented with the Air Flight's more flowing version, harkening back to this model's original construction.
