The KITH x Aimé Leon Dore Chapter 1 Collection combines silhouettes indicative of both brands, which were then redesigned in collaboration to deliver one flowing aesthetic. This 10-piece is divided into two main color stories - black and oxblood - and is inspired by a vintage boxing theme. Friends and co-founders Ronnie Fieg and Teddy Santis both were raised in Queens, NY thus prompting each piece to be named after streets that were significant in their respective lives.
Tops in this collection include the updated Astoria Robe, the Hollis Hoody, and the Hillside Crew. Each top is crafted from 380 gsm cotton French terry, and is lined with an off-white waffle-thermal cotton. The Astoria Robe ($275 USD) utilizes a two-button placket, as well as a traditional self-fabric belt. The side seams conceal two invisible-zipper hand pockets, while the underarms feature subtle tonal reverse terry panels. The Hollis Hoody ($170 USD) uses a contour hem with side invisible zipper vents. The hood is adjustable via braided rope drawstrings. The Hillside Crew ($150 USD) is adorned with a reverse terry appliqué on the chest, each colorway wielding a logo from each respective brand. A split hem provides comfortability with a contemporary fit.
The sole bottom in this collection is the Roosevelt Pant ($135 USD) which is constructed using a 1x1 cotton rib, and then lined with an off-white waffle-thermal cotton. The waistband is elasticated with adjustable drawstrings, and the ankles feature a hidden zipper cuff for accessibility.
Lastly, a loose-gauge knit Beanie ($65 USD) comprises the accessories, thus rounding out this assortment.
The full 10-piece collection will release this Friday, January 9th, exclusively at the New KITH Shop 644 Broadway, KITH Brooklyn 233 Flatbush Ave, and online at KithNYC.com at 11AM EST.
