With the Superstar's 45th anniversary on the horizon in 2015, adidas Consortium rebuilds the classic silhouette using its original construction. This "Made in France" edition was produced in Ateliers Heschung, one of the last family-run factories in the small town of Dettwiller in Eastern France. Using handcrafting techniques, this Superstar is designed using impeccably high quality leathers. Sticking to the motif of its "original construction," the black heel tab is unbranded, while the shell toe, leather liner, and midsole are all a vintage ivory color. The tongue label is black and includes "La marque aux 3 bandes," the initial label this staple sneaker was released under.
