As opposed to finding inspiration in great American works of literature, the color schemes are derived from legendary American works of art. The first model to release from this collection is the M1300DGR. This M1300 is quite notable, as it is the first M1300 to feature a nubuck vamp, let alone a perforated nubuck vamp. The upper is a light grey tone, while the nubuck heel wrap is a eye-catching purple which is accented by the teal "N"-logo. The white midsole unit utilizes ENCAP-technology for max response and comfort. White cotton laces are a nice juxtaposition for this colorful model.
