After a lauded response the first time around, NIKE quickly launches another two colorways of the Flyknit Roshe Run, once again in quickstrike fashion. What was designed to be incredibly lightweight, becomes even more so with the transition to Flyknit, as the entire upper is woven to create bold colorways. The Black model rides the current Triple Black wave, as the upper is totally black, and matched by a dark grey phylon midsole. The basket-weave overlay is tonal, subtly adding an interesting design element. Its counterpart, the Fireberry model, is far more colorful. The upper calmly shifts from red to orange, as only the knit upper is able to do. The basket-weave overlay is black, providing a nice contrast to the otherwise bright model. Keeping with the lighter theme, this sneaker sits atop a white phylon midsole.
