New Balance has built its foundation on offering the highest possible quality in tandem with the most effective and comfortable shoes possible. With the creation of their innovative RevLite technology, New Balance is digging back into archives to equip somewhat heavy models with this newfound lightweight sole unit. Such is the case with the latest iteration of the MT580, now dubbed the MRT580 due to the addition of RevLite to the midsole. The MRT580BY features a classic New Balance combination of suede and mesh, as a grey mesh foundation is overlaid with burgundy suede panels. Charcoal tumbled leather is used for the "N"-logos amidst the side panels, as well as the heel tab. The lightweight grey midsole unit features a "RevLite"-branded burgundy hit, and is adhered to a heavy-tread black outsole.
