Arriving at Kith NYC this Saturday is the multi-collaborative effort between Asics, Onitsuka Tiger, and UK-based boutique Offspring, dubbed - the "Desert" Pack. Two pairs of shoes act as foils to each other, as an Asics Gel Lyte V symbolizes the blazing desert mornings, and an Onitsuka Tiger Shaw Runner represents the frozen nights. The Gel Lyte V is extremely detail-oriented, featuring an array of premium materials. A very nappy sand-colored suede is utilized for the majority of the upper, while rich nubuck panel overlays feature a dark purple color as a tasteful accent. The face panels, heel wrap, and neoprene inner-sock are all a dark brown color, truly tying together all the desert-related hues. Other details include asymmetrical 3M formstripes, aquatic-speckled heel detail, tri-blocked outsole, and 3M weave tonal laces. Its counterpart, takes an entirely different approach due to its theme. The Shaw Runner features a primarily navy execution, as the upper is a navy mesh with tonal nubuck overlays. The Tiger Stripe logos are a bright blue, adding a nice contrast, and are also 3M. Additional 3M detailing is seen on the laces, and underneath the collar, which is exposed by the perforations. Both pairs also come with Offspring-branded footbeds as a final touch. The Asics x Onitsuka Tiger x Offspring - "Desert" Pack will be available this Saturday, September 13. The Asics x Offspring Gel Lyte V "Desert" will be available in-store only at both Kith NYC locations, while the Onitsuka Tiger x Offspring "Desert" will be available at Kith Manhattan and online at KithNYC.com.
