adidas Originals has been winning as of late, thanks to successful retros such as the colossal comeback of the Stan Smith, but also due to innovative developments such as the ZX Flux silhouette. adidas combines the two dualities with their latest release, the ZX Flux Weave "OG" Pack, where the German footwear giant pays tribute to past models with their all new ones. The ZX Flux Weave features the Flux silhouette, but the upper features a woven fabric material that is able to recreate detail-oriented designs, such as the recreation of two vintage adidas favorites - the ZX 9000 and ZX 8000 "OG's." The first rendition weaves together the light hued-panels of the ZX 9000, mimicking the construction to a tee, while still providing the one-piece upper and featherweight ride the ZX Flux was designed to deliver. The ZX 8000 is also recreated flawlessly, while both models use the nostalgic ZX-based midsole unit and heel cup.
