It seems as if NIKE creates brand new silhouettes or footwear technology every year, always being on the precipice of innovation. However, this does not deter them from satisfying their long time fans with tried and true silhouettes, such as the staples from their Air Max line - the Air Max 1 and the Air Max 90. The Air Max 1 returns for the impending Fall/Winter seasons in three iterations - the Air Max 1 Leather - Summit White/Midnight Navy, and the Air Max 1 Essential - Bamboo/Pink & Navy/Sky Blue. The Air Max 1 Leather features a microperforated white leather vamp, which is wrapped by a midnight navy leather mudguard. Both Essentials are comprised of a mesh and microfiber makeup, staying true to their namesake. The Bamboo/Pink makeup is primarily tan, while fuchsia and vibrant green accents really bring the execution to life. The Navy/Sky Blue combines a white base with sky blue microfiber overlays, as well as a navy microfiber mudguard and leather Swoosh logo. Its brethren, the Air Max 90, arrives as an Essential, yet features an entirely leather composition. The upper is entirely white tumbled leather, while small black accents set the color scheme for strong red complements. The resulting makeup is subtle, yet strong.
