Asics releases the first two models of their "Exploration" Pack in the form of the Gel Saga - Soft Grey/White/Light Blue and the GT Quick - Dark Grey/Black/Light Blue. The Gel Saga utilizes a myriad of colors, starting with a light platinum grey mesh base that is covered with tonal suede panels. This muted foundation then grows with dark grey overlays and various color hits, such as light blue accents seen on the liner, eyelets, forefoot midsole, and rear "ASICS" branding. Red is the next color on this world-traveled model, seen outlining the white leather formstripes, as well as the rear outsole and "GEL Saga" branding. A 3M heel collar and custom footbeds featuring "ASICS" branding and a navigation-esque print solidify this model. The GT Quick plays the opposite, utilizing a darker base with a black leather vamp and charcoal suede overlays. The same variety of color is seen on this reintroduced silhouette, such as light blue on the tongue, liner, leather heel wrap, and midsole; and red on the formstripe trim, eyelets, and tongue branding. An interesting design aspect to this model is a carbon fiber-print heel wrap, in addition to the custom print footbeds.
