Aberdeen's hanon has been a formidable contender in the world of footwear since their inception in 1990. Collaborative projects with brands such as New Balance, Adidas, Lacoste, and many more have shown hanon's dexterity and keen eye for detail. The latest co-branded model added to their archives comes in the form of the Diadora N.9000, dubbed the "Saturday Special." The inspiration behind the project stems from public transit buses employed in the UK in the 1980's. The quarter panels and lower harness component are composed of rich burgundy kangaroo leather, while the toe and heel wrap are a dark marine pigskin suede. The tonal logo is made of silky bovine suede, while the closed mesh toebox and inner-lining are sky blue. Details include vintage print branding on the insole and tongue liner, embroidered logos of both hanon and Diadora on the heels and tongue, and small red hits of kangaroo leather on the forefoot and heel tab. Finally, the vintage trainer comes with three different lace options. The hanon x Diadora N.9000 - "Saturday Special" is available now in-store only at Kith Manhattan.
