The preliminary release from New Balance's literature-themed "Authors" Collection is the Made in USA M998 - "Moby Dick." The majority of this model is constructed with premium grey pigskin suede layered over a rich navy mesh toebox. Cobalt blue hues are used on the forefoot and heel 3M hits. Obsidian blue coloring graces the leather stitched N branding, as well as the rubber heel clip and rear quarter panel components. The upper sits upon New Balance's timeless ABZORB midsole technology, which is coated in white with a lateral forefoot hit in obsidian. White laces help round out this masterfully subtle colorway.
