The KITH Summer 2015 Collection presents a dichotomy of casual and class. Elevated silhouettes, as well as essential cut-and-sew garments, are reimagined with sophisticated fabrics to create a level of casual elegance. This assortment of apparel combines city and beach mentalities to offer the perfect summertime wardrobe. To properly tell this story, we have split our seasonal offering into two diverse deliveries. 

Delivery I focuses on the classier dimension of summer fashion, as less becomes more in terms of attire. This initial batch includes both new and reprised styles, such as the Lancaster Windbreaker, the Nassau Sailing Jacket, the Saratoga S/S Oxford, the Frayed Mercer Short, and the Mesh Bleecker Short. The Lancaster Windbreaker is draped in a custom avian-print, and is the first KITH piece of its kind. Its extended length and lightweight body allows it to be the ideal outerwear piece during the summer months. The Nassau Sailing Jacket is a split-body maritime silhouette made from deconstructed shirting fabric for casual layering. The only shirt included is the Saratoga S/S Oxford, which is a collarless button down for a contemporary take on a traditional classic. Bottoms are the final element and are offered in both chino and athletic styles. The Frayed Mercer Short is a new but familiar design, as our staple Mercer Pant is cut off at the knees to become our summer staple. The most casual piece in Delivery I is the Mesh Bleecker Short, which features a mesh body lined with extremely breathable and soft cotton jersey. 

Delivery II is more dedicated to the relaxed side of summer, as the mentality sways from the city towards the beach. A material story runs throughout Delivery II, as KITH utilizes a very unique loose gauge terry fabric for each garment. Loose gauge terry is incredibly lightweight, and vastly soft to the touch. Despite being a terry, its distinct composition makes it a quintessential summer material. This accompanying collection includes the Granite Crew, the Frayed Hopkins Tee, the Frayed Hazel Tank, and the Bleecker Short. The Granite Crew is a pullover, which features a split hem with an extended rear, as well as a shawl collar for a more stylized approach. The Frayed Hopkins Tee and the Frayed Hazel Tank are both designed to be dynamic summer layering pieces, as each is equipped with raw-edge hems and extended bodies with side vents. Lastly, the Bleecker Short retains all of its familiar qualities, but becomes much more summer-ready thanks to its new loose gauge interpretation.

Delivery I of the KITH Summer 2015 Collection will be available this Saturday, June 6, at 11AM EST at KITH Manhattan (644 Broadway) and online at KithNYC.com. Stay tuned as Delivery II will release later on this month.
